Internet Addiction and How to Stop It

Today was indeed not a normal day for me. I don’t usually wake up early for a discussion. Especially if its at 5:00 o’clock in the morning. But because Melanie Heng of ABS-CBN ( a tv network in the Philippines) asked for an interview in their morning show Bagong Umaga, bagong Balita, I did go to the studio. The discussion was about online addiction, internet addiction, addiction to social media sites, online games and other forms of digital distractions that id borne about by the internet. Vanj Padilla as interviewee at ABS CBN’s Bagong Umaga, Bagong Balita with Host Melanie Heng They become passive for physical social interaction but aggressive, more violent and less respectful for other people’s rights and immediate environment. They become overly obsessed with their online personas and think that the universe revolves around...

Decoding the myth of Taal through Club Balai Isabel

The Taal Volcano is believed to be the smallest volcano in the world. Its also located in the Philippines. The best way to go to the volcano island and personally see its crater is through Club Balai Isabel in Talisay Batangas. Club Balai Isabel Batangas should be your next destination. It has all the great things needed for a complete summer getaway. Nestled along the coast of Lake Taal, this first-class resort offers a wide range of exciting activities for the family, for the barkada, for the team and for organizations big or small. My daughter and I, together with fellow bloggers stayed in a villa a few steps near everything. From the restaurant to the pool, to the lake, it was perfect for a group of 10 or more. We were  warmly welcomed by the staff and crew. Gave us refreshing welcome drinks after we toured  the club premises. Just looking at the pool beside the restaurant relaxes the senses and we stayed there until lunch time. Club Balai Isabel serve...
